This approach seeks to highlight a concordance between contemporary knowledge and an ancient text.
For exegetes and believers, this reading finds an echo in the verses that describe the difficulty of accessing faith in the face of divine signs, as illustrated by this passage from Surah Al-An'am:
Surah Al-An'am (Surah 6), verse 25 « Among them are those who come to listen to you, but We have placed veils over their hearts, preventing them from understanding, and in their ears is heaviness. Even if they saw every kind of proof, they would not believe in it. »
This verse is thus often perceived by tradition as an illustration of the complexity of receiving the signs throughout the ages.
